Inflation!

Inflation and inflation. I am sure this word appear more frequently these days. Have you realised how bad it is? If you are still not sure, take a walk in your neighbourhood. To your surprise, almost if not all of the item on sale now cost more!

My area just started pa-sa-ma-la. I bought a pack of Muar-Chi. Supposely it should cost 1dollar. But inflation push the price to jump 50%! Yes, i was shocked to the core. A simple item cost 50% more? If this is not bad enough. Try walking around NTUC. Most of the price has increase slightly. In econ, inflation undermine one purchasing power! I finally realised this and see the clearest picture! Last time maybe with the same 1 dollar can buy alot of things. In today world, it's getting harder to say.

Yes, i really really cant imagine the future. Why? As a business student, i analysis the whole situation. My conclusion shocked me. Why? I realised the con's of globalisation yet in the past i was a supporter. Sadly, globalisation bring millions of people out of proverty. Supposely to be a fortunate thing however the hind side say; it compete with us for RESOURCES! With limited resources, supply will never keep up with demand. Hence prices will only march north. The scarily part i realised it is very unlikely to march south! Goodness, income daparity will soon become a serious issue to the world. Eventhough a recession seem coming our way. But sadly it will only contain the inflation to a small extent. Reason being: historic price for oil. As long as oil remain high, there's no way we can beat inflation. People argue recession may dampen oil price, but do we seriously think so? It may to a small extent in my point of view.

What worried me is Food. Food is necessity. If price keep heading north and will continue to, due to competition for food from human, disaster that killed plot of lands and biofuel, then i'm afraid the world is going to witness the worse in the coming years. Such that human behavioural is going to change.

To combat this, somehow i felt a need to obtain a degree.
